# FDA Authorizes Watmind At-Home Covid Antigen Test

FDA has granted an emergency use authorization to Watmind USA for its over-the-counter at-home Covid-19 antigen test. The self-test displays results in 15 minutes, and can be used as a “serial test for people with or without symptoms, meaning the test is done two times over three days, with at least 24 hours and no more than 48 hours between tests,” an agency [document says](https://www.fda.gov/media/159730/download?ref=fdaweb.com). It can be used by those 14 years of age or older with a self-collected nasal swab sample, and children aged two years and older when an adult collects the nasal swab sample.
