FDA Awards $1.1 Million Immunoinformatics Contract

The CDER Office of Generic Drugs has awarded a two-year $1.1 million contract to EpiVax and CUBRC to continue research performed during a previous two-year collaboration. EpiVax says that in the previous contract period it demonstrated the value of in silico tools and in vitro validation methods for evaluating generic peptide drugs and their impurities. EpiVax says it analyzed the immunogenic risk of two generic peptide drugs, applying the concepts outlined in a 2017 FDA draft guidance.
