# FDA Clears DarioHealth Glucos Monitor for Smartphones

FDA has cleared a DarioHealth 510(k) for the Dario app and its use on certain Android mobile devices. The clearance allows the sale of the Dario Blood Glucose Monitoring System on the Google play store for Android devices, including Samsung Galaxy S series, Samsung Galaxy Note series and LG G series smart phones. Previously, the app was exclusively marketed for the Apple iOS 6.1 platform and higher since FDA granted clearance 12/2015.
