# FDA Clears Erchonia Laser for Musculoskeletal Pain

FDA has cleared an Erchonia 510(k) to market FX low-level laser for the temporary relief of chronic, nociceptive musculoskeletal pain. Clearance was based on data from placebo-controlled clinical trials with 255 patients, which showed that those treated with the laser documented a 49% average pain reduction post treatment protocol, according to the company. No other therapies were used in conjunction with the laser treatment, it says.
