# FDA Clears Etiometry Risk Analytics Algorithm

FDA has cleared an Etiometry 510(k) for its [Risk Analytics Algorithm](http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.etiometry.com%2Four-platform%2Frisk-analytics-algorithms%2F&esheet=51431891&newsitemid=20161004005127&lan=en-US&anchor=Risk+Analytics+Algorithms&index=1&md5=a4c6bb77334b484e309f6cb8700b8c37&ref=fdaweb.com) that is intended to inform physicians and nurses in the intensive care unit about a patient’s condition. The algorithm is for use with the company’s [T3 Visualization & Data Aggregation](http://cts.businesswire.com/ct/CT?id=smartlink&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.etiometry.com%2Four-platform%2Ft3-visualization%2F&esheet=51431891&newsitemid=20161004005127&lan=en-US&anchor=T3+Visualization+%26+Data+Aggregation&index=2&md5=ce37bec3e3af9910c9b230e0292fd789&ref=fdaweb.com) software. The Inadequate Oxygen Delivery (IDO2) Index Powered by Risk Analytics for Neonates algorithm is the first of several planned by the company. “With the IDO2 algorithm, doctors and nurses can quickly assess the risk of inadequate oxygen delivery alongside traditional measures of the patient’s status in a manner that clearly visualizes the patient’s trajectory,” it says. “This solution can be deployed in the ICU and accessed by critical-care providers using computers or mobile devices secured by the hospital’s network.”
