# FDA Clears Expanded Use for Medicrea’s Surgical Software

FDA has cleared a Medicrea Group 510(k) for expanded use of its proprietary surgical planning software, UNiD Hub, to integrate a complete database of the company’s implant portfolio to directly simulate and select implants during planning for surgery. “The integration of an implant database with Medicrea’s UNiD Hub enables the company to perform a comprehensive patient-specific preoperative planning that will more completely link implant selection with post-operative analyses and increase the robustness and efficiency of Medicrea’s proprietary predictive model,” the company says.
