# FDA Clears Life Spine’s Prolift Spinal Spacer

FDA has cleared a Life Spine 510(k) for the Prolift Expandable Spacer System. The device’s 8mm-10mm new widths more than double its current spinal options to accommodate a wider range of patients and their unique pathologies, the company says. It also features the company’s proprietary Osseo-Loc surface technology “with 400-600 microns of porosity creating an environment for potential bone on-growth,” it adds.
