FDA has cleared an NKGen Biotech IND for its SNK01 NK cell therapy to treat Alzheimer’s disease. The company [says](https://nkgenbiotech.com/nkgen-biotech-announces-fda-clearance-of-investigational-new-drug-application-for-snk01-nk-cell-therapy-to-treat-alzheimers-disease/?ref=fdaweb.com) SNK01 is an autologous, non-genetically modified NK cell product that has enhanced cytotoxicity and activating receptor expression.

An approved trial of 30 patients with moderate Alzheimer’s disease will look to start before the end of this year, the company says.
