FDA Clears Olea Medical Imaging Software

FDA has cleared an Olea Medical 510(k) for its Olea Sphere 3.0 medical imaging software package, which is intended for picture archiving, post-processing and communication. The software is designed to help standardize both viewing and analysis capabilities of functional and dynamic imaging datasets acquired with magnetic resonance imaging and computed tomography. “It features innovative image viewing, analysis and processing of most complex MR sequences as well as longitudinal analysis of multiple time points,” the company says.
