FDA has given 510(k) clearance for the ReShape Lifesciences Gastro Intestinal Balloon Indicator calibration tube for use in gastric and bariatric surgical procedures. The company [says](https://www.gurufocus.com/news/1846723/reshape-lifesciences-receives-fda-510k-clearance-for-the-gibi-hd-calibration-tubes-for-use-in-gastric-and-bariatric-procedures?ref=fdaweb.com) the tubes are available in three sizes and will simplify gastric and bariatric procedures including laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and gastric banding.
