FDA Clears Samsung GC79 Digital Radiography System

FDA has cleared a Samsung 510(k) for the GC70 Digital Radiography (DR) system. The device “creates high-quality images with cutting-edge digital enhancements such as the S-Vue imaging engine, which provides high resolution images through adaptive filtering, the company says. It features S-Align to help provide accurate alignment at multiple angles and it broadcasts the detector’s degree of angulation to the tube head allowing proper radiographic alignment when imaging gurney or wheel chair patients.
