FDA Co-hosting Workshop on Device Cybersecurity

Federal Register notice: FDA, the National Science Foundation and Department of Homeland Security, Science and Technology have announced a public workshop (5/18-19) entitled “Cybersecurity of Medical Devices: A Regulatory Science Gap Analysis.” The workshop is intended to discuss the current state of regulatory science in the field of medical device cybersecurity, with a focus on patient safety. It will also identify regulatory science challenges, discuss innovative strategies to address those challenges, and encourage proactive development of analytical tools, processes, and best practices by the stakeholder community to strengthen medical device cybersecurity.
