FDA Debars Raventos Over Falsifying Trial Data

Federal Register notice: FDA is permanently debarring Lisett Raventos from providing services in any capacity related to an approved or pending drug product application. FDA bases the debarment on its finding that she was convicted of a felony under federal law for conduct relating to a drug product’s development. As a clinical study coordinator at Unlimited Medical Research from 9/2013 to 6/2016, Raventos allegedly conspired with others to make materially false representations about clinical trials, fabricated data and the participation of subjects in those clinical trials, and concealed from FDA, sponsors, and contract research organizations the fact that the data and participation of subjects had been fabricated.
