FDA Debars Ryan Stabile for 15 Years

Federal Register notice: FDA is issuing an order debarring Ryan Stabile for 15 years from importing or offering for import any drug into the U.S. The action is based on his conviction on three felony counts related to the introduction of misbranded drugs with the intent to defraud/mislead. Stabile owned the companies Ultra Vulgar Media and Supplements for Work, which sold nootropics, a class of drugs and supplements claiming to enhance mood and cognitive functioning. The government contends that Stabile operated several Web sites where he sold various forms of tianeptine, which were not approved by FDA. To view the notice, click here.
