FDA Lawyer Nguyen Moves to Cooley

Law firm Cooley has added 14-year FDA veteran Son Nguyen to the firm’s Washington, DC office. At the agency, he most recently served as senior counsel in the Office of the Chief Counsel where he handled matters involving devices and combination products. Previously, Nguyen was FDA associate chief counsel for enforcement. Before joining the agency, Nguyen worked for nearly a decade as a litigation and regulatory attorney in private practice.

As special counsel in Cooley’s global life sciences and healthcare regulatory practice group, Nguyen will advise clients on complex device, pharmaceutical and combination product matters, according to a law firm release.

Nguyen has a law degree from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law.
