FDA Licenses 8 Quotient Reagent Products

FDA has licensed eight Quotient Limited rare antisera blood typing reagent products that are intended for use in transfusion diagnostics, and formulated specifically for antigen phenotyping. The products are the most frequently used for special antigen testing by customers, and cover Fy [a ] and Fy [b ] ; S and s; Kell; Jk [a ] and Jk [b ] and P1, according to the company. Five additional rare antisera products are awaiting FDA license, with regulatory approval expected later this year.
