# FDA Lifts Partial Hold on Curis Leukemia Trial

FDA has lifted its 4/4/22 partial clinical hold on the Curis TakeAim Leukemia Phase 1/2 study of emavusertib in patients with B-cell malignancies. Under the [hold](https://www.fdaweb.com/curis-lymphoma-study-on-partial-hold/), the agency requested additional safety, efficacy, and other data relating to the drug, including data on rhabdomyolysis and the company’s determination of the recommended Phase 2 dose for emavusertib.

Curis [says](https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/fda-removes-partial-clinical-hold-on-takeaim-leukemia-study-rp2d-established-at-300-mg-bid-301870902.html?ref=fdaweb.com) the recommended Phase 2 dose for emavusertib as monotherapy has been established at 300 mg twice daily in patients with acute myelogenous leukemia or myelodysplastic syndromes.

Emavusertib is described as a triple target inhibitor that has shown anti-tumor activity across a broad range of hematologic malignancies.
