# FDA OKs Allergy Drug for Younger Patients

FDA has approved Stallergenes Greer’s Oralair (Sweet Vernal, Orchard, Perennial Rye, Timothy, and Kentucky Blue Grass mixed pollens allergen extract) for treating patients aged five to nine years with grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis. Previously, the sublingual tablet was approved for treating patients aged 10 to 65 years. In clinical trials, the most common adverse reactions for Oralair were oral pruritus, throat irritation, ear pruritus, mouth edema, tongue pruritus, cough and oropharyngeal pain.
