# FDA OKs SystImmune Phase 1 Lung Cancer Study

FDA has authorized SystImmune to proceed with a planned study of its BL-B01D1 in an IND for subjects with metastatic or unresectable non-small cell lung cancer. The company [says](https://finance.yahoo.com/news/systimmune-inc-announces-fda-clearance-010000266.html?ref=fdaweb.com) BL-B01D1 is a first-in-class bispecific antibody-drug conjugate developed by SystImmune that targets both EGFR and HER3 proteins that are highly expressed in most epithelial tumors. It says clinical studies conducted thus far have demonstrated “compelling results for BL-B01D1.”
