# FDA Onsite Verification of Device Facility Info

FDA says it has contracted with Dun & Bradstreet to conduct onsite verification of medical device facility information provided to the agency by registered and listed medical device manufacturers. An agency [notice](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/device-registration-and-listing/fda-onsite-registration-and-listing-verifications?ref=fdaweb.com) says that participation is voluntary and FDA asks that if a company is contacted by Dun & Bradstreet it gives its full cooperation so the accuracy of the company’s information can be verified. “By cooperating with these efforts, you help us save you time and expense,” the notice says.
