FDA Panel to Review 2 RSV Vaccines

Federal Register notice: FDA is announcing a 2/28 to 3/1 Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meeting to discuss two BLAs for respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccines. On 2/28, panel members will review Pfizer’s vaccine Abrysvo for active immunization for preventing acute respiratory disease and lower respiratory tract disease (LRTD) caused by RSV in adults 60 years of age and older. On 3/1, they will review GSK’s Arexvy for active immunization for preventing LRTD caused by RSV-A and RSV-B subtypes in adults 60 years of age and older. To view the notice, click here.
