FDA Policy Head Lands at King & Spalding

King & Spalding has added former FDA associate commissioner for policy Lauren Roth as a partner on the FDA and Life Sciences team in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Roth left FDA 9/2024 after serving eight years in senior leadership roles, such as senior advisor to FDA’s chief of staff and CDRH associate director for strategy and regulatory operations. Before coming to the agency in 2016, Roth spent several years as assistant general counsel at Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America and, before that, she was a life sciences lawyer at Sidley Austin for six years. Roth earned her law degree from the University of Virginia Law School.
