# FDA Publishes 48 Product-Specific Guidances

FDA has published 29 new and 19 revised product-specific guidances (PSGs) with recommendations for developing generic drugs and generating the evidence needed to support ANDA approval. A *Federal Register* [notice](https://www.federalregister.gov/public-inspection/2022-16502/guidance-product-specific-guidances?utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=govdelivery) says there are 28 PSGs for products with no approved ANDAs (16 non-complex and 12 complex products). There are 18 PSGs for complex products, and 12 of them are for products with no approved ANDAs.
