# FDA Says Its Pharmacists Can Help Consumers

FDA says its pharmacists are available to help consumers achieve the best possible outcome when taking drugs. An online [post](https://www.fda.gov/consumers/consumer-updates/fda-pharmacists-help-you-use-medicines-safely?ref=fdaweb.com) says agency pharmacists are available by telephone or e-mail to answer a variety of questions.

“Call your local pharmacist or FDA’s drug information pharmacists if you have questions after receiving a medicine,” the post says. “FDA’s Division of Drug Information (DDI) is home to a staff of pharmacists who respond to questions about human drugs for the U.S. public. DDI gets several hundred calls and e-mails each day, with more than half of them from consumers.”
