FDA Schedules Panel Meeting for More Boosters

FDA has announced a 10/14-15 Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee meeting to discuss booster doses for both Moderna and Janssen Covid-19 vaccines. Panel members are also scheduled to discuss available data on the use of a booster of a different vaccine than the one used when first vaccinated. Additionally, because the agency is expecting a submission from Pfizer seeking to allow its Covid-19 vaccine to be used in children aged five through 11 years, a 10/26 committee meeting is now scheduled to discuss the anticipated submission.
