# FDA Seeks Computational Heart Modeling Software

FDA has issued a Request for Information (RFI) to identify potential parties capable of providing computational human heart modeling software and services to conduct simulations and studies. The [RFI](https://www.fbo.gov/index.php?s=opportunity&mode=form&id=fb56bc8127a061df7a37950ab185486d&tab=core&%5Fcview=0&ref=fdaweb.com) says the CDRH Division of Applied Mechanics in the Office of Science and Engineering wants to identify vendors with the capability to perform whole human heart computations with a virtually implanted generic medical device using high-performance cloud computing, online access to the data, simulation, and the databases for registered users, and Web-based capabilities for viewing data and simulations.
