# FDA Targets 17 Online Unapproved Product Marketers

FDA has issued 12 [Warning Letters](https://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/WarningLetters/default.htm?ref=fdaweb.com) and five online [advisory letters](https://www.fda.gov/ICECI/EnforcementActions/AdvisoryLetters/default.htm?ref=fdaweb.com) to foreign and domestic companies that are “illegally” selling more than 58 products, which include dietary supplements, that are unapproved or misbranded drugs because they are claiming to treat Alzheimer’s disease and other serious health conditions.
