FDA Unveils Device Development Advisory Pilot

Federal Register notice: FDA is announcing a voluntary Total Product Life Cycle (TPLC) Advisory Program (TAP) pilot that was agreed to between FDA and industry as part of the reauthorization of the Medical Device User Fee Amendments. TAP is intended to help spur more rapid product development by evaluating the feasibility and benefits of process improvements to FDA’s early interactions with participants. Beginning 1/1/2023, the agency will seek requests for enrollment in the pilot’s “soft launch.” To view the notice, click here.
