FDA Updates Cybersecurity Information

FDA has added four items to its medical device cybersecurity online post:

the availability of a threat modeling playbook that discusses best practices for understanding basic threat modeling concepts and processes and how to apply them to medical devices;
a joint FDA/University of California San Francisco-Stanford Center of Excellence in Regulatory Science and Innovation virtual speaker series;
a cybersecurity awareness video with practical steps patients can take to protect their device and personal information; and
an online best practices document with information for FDA, federal partners, and stakeholders to help thoughtfully inform patients and the public about cybersecurity vulnerabilities.
