FDA has added two updates to its Supplies of Medical Devices for Covid-19 Frequently Asked Questions Web page. The first [update](https://www.fda.gov/medical-devices/coronavirus-covid-19-and-medical-devices/supplies-medical-devices-covid-19-frequently-asked-questions?ref=fdaweb.com#removecode) adds information about how the agency determines it is appropriate to remove a product code from the device shortage list, and the second tells what FDA is doing to help medical device manufacturers with the global shortage of semiconductor chips.
