# FDA Updates Purple Book on Biologics

FDA has updated its [*Purple Book*: Database of FDA-Licensed Biological Products](http://s2027422842.t.en25.com/e/er?utm%5Fcampaign=FDA%20Updates%20Purple%20Book%20Database%20of%20FDA-Licensed%20Biological%20Product&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=Eloqua&s=2027422842&lid=11871&elqTrackId=51ADCC6068CFE47F03134A12B273FD4A&elq=5fadcae200b2490f8736886a0786f3a9&elqaid=12498&elqat=1) to add all FDA-licensed, biological products regulated by CDER, including biological products approved in NDAs that were [deemed to be licenses](http://s2027422842.t.en25.com/e/er?utm%5Fcampaign=FDA%20Updates%20Purple%20Book%20Database%20of%20FDA-Licensed%20Biological%20Product&utm%5Fmedium=email&utm%5Fsource=Eloqua&s=2027422842&lid=8604&elqTrackId=AE56D5F3B34E927A98125726EC2EFE6E&elq=5fadcae200b2490f8736886a0786f3a9&elqaid=12498&elqat=1) on 3/23 (transition biological products). The update also includes additional downloadable report features, and historical reports will now include a section highlighting changes made during the previous month. An [FDA notice ](http://s2027422842.t.en25.com/e/es?s=2027422842&e=331934&elqTrackId=376c7bc788024cd5a73d955f2e3dcbdc&elq=5fadcae200b2490f8736886a0786f3a9&elqaid=12498&elqat=1&ref=fdaweb.com)says that subsequent releases will include information about all FDA-licensed biological products regulated by CBER, in addition to enhanced functionality.
