FDA Ups Contract to $100 Million for Web Support

FDA has awarded Information Innovators Inc. a $100 million Web content management system support services contract. The five-year “blanket purchase agreement” expands on the company’s continued work for the agency. “With its $100 million ceiling, the contract calls for the organization to support the exponential growth of fda.gov and the FDA’s growing demand to place information on the Internet,” the company says. “We will continue providing mission-critical support for the FDA’s Internet and intranet as well as cutting-edge solutions for emerging FDA needs in the areas of web content management, search, and application delivery.” Information Innovators says it has been providing FDA with information technology services for about 20 years.
