FDA: VasoCorp Selling Unapproved, Misbranded Drugs

FDA says its review of a Web site maintained by VasoCorp, Inc., in Hiram, GA, determined that the company takes orders for two Nerve Support Formula products that are legally considered to be unapproved new drugs. A 7/9 Warning Letter says the drugs are not generally recognized as safe and effective and thus are considered to be new drugs.

The letter says the drugs are misbranded because they don’t contain adequate directions for their intended use.

VasoCorp was told to respond with a list of specific steps it has taken to address the violations and prevent their recurrence, with documentation of each step and a schedule for completing the corrections.
