# FDA Warns 2 More Online Sellers of Illegal Opioids

FDA has issued Warning Letters to operators of two Web sites that the agency says “illegally market potentially dangerous unapproved and misbranded opioid medications, including tramadol.” The letters tell the companies to immediately stop offering violative drugs for sale to U.S. consumers. The two Web sites are azmedicinalshop.com and thedonrx.com.

An agency media [statement](https://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm635018.htm?ref=fdaweb.com) says that to further advance innovative solutions to the nation’s opioid crisis, FDA is hosting 4/2 Internet stakeholders, thought leaders, government entities, academic researchers, and advocacy groups at its second Online Opioid Summit that will focus on opportunities to reduce the availability of opioids online by working with Web site registries and registrars, “which play an important role in the registration of Internet domain names.”

The notice says FDA has now issued 25 Warning Letters identifying more than 450 Web sites since 9/2017.
