# FDA Warns Cadila About 2 Plants

> FDA has issued a Warning Letter to India’s Cadila Healthcare for not meeting current good manufacturing standards at its Moraiya formulation facility and Ahmedabad active pharmaceutical ingredient facility, according to an *Economic Times* [report](http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/industry/healthcare/biotech/pharmaceuticals/cadila-gets-us-fda-warning-for-violating-standards-at-moraiya-and-ahmedabad-plants/articleshow/50390452.cms?ref=fdaweb.com). Company officials told the newspaper they have initiated steps to transfer some products to other manufacturing sites.

> The newspaper reports that this is the third time that the Moraiya facility has been in trouble with FDA, citing a 2011 Warning Letter and another communication in 2014\. The report says that Cadila is the third Indian company in three months to “face FDA’s ire.”
