# FDA Warns on Homeopathic Teething Products

FDA is warning consumers that homeopathic teething tablets and gels may pose a risk to infants and children. The products are distributed by CVS and Hyland’s, and sold in retail stores and online. The agency is analyzing adverse events associated with the products, including seizures in infants and children since a [2010 safety alert](http://www.fda.gov/NewsEvents/Newsroom/PressAnnouncements/ucm230761.htm?ref=fdaweb.com). “The FDA is currently investigating this issue, including testing product samples,” an updated safety alert says.
