# FDA Warns Reddy Naturals for Selling Unapproved Drugs

FDA says its review of a Web site and Facebook site maintained by Reddy Naturals, Kennesaw, GA, indicated that the company is selling several products that are considered unapproved new drugs under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. A 12/18 [Warning Letter](https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/reddy-naturals-609906-12182020?ref=fdaweb.com) quotes extensively from the company Web site and Facebook page to demonstrate that the firm’s products are intended for use as drugs.

The letter says the products are not generally recognized as safe and effective for their intended uses and thus are considered unapproved new drugs. It says the products also are misbranded because they don’t contain adequate directions for their intended use.

Reddy Naturals was told to take prompt action to correct the violations and to respond with a list of steps taken to correct the violations, an explanation of each step, related documentation, and a timetable for completing the corrections.
