FDA Will Meet with Petros on Stendra Labeling

FDA says it will meet with Petros Pharmaceuticals to discuss expansions and modifications to labeling for the company’s Stendra (avanafil) erectile dysfunction medication. The company says the meeting is scheduled for 9/2021.

Petros says it is proposing that the time interval between administration of Stendra and nitrates be revised to provide greater specificity across the product strengths and more accurately reflect the available clinical evidence.

Petros says it also has started activities it hopes will lead to FDA considering moving Stendra from prescription to over-the-counter status.
