# FDA Withdraws 2 MQSA Alternative Standards

*Federal Register* notice: FDA is announcing the withdrawal of two Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) alternative standards due to updated MQSA regulations. The standards being withdrawn are:

- MQSA Alternative Standards #11 ‘‘Modifications in the Assessment Categories Used in Medical Reports”
- MQSA Alternative Standards #12 “Assessment category for Post Procedure Mammograms for Marker Placement”
