*Federal Register* Notice: FDA is withdrawing approval of two AbbVie NDAs for Advicor (niacin extended-release and lovastatin) tablets and Simcor (niacin ER and simvastatin) tablets. The company has requested the withdrawal and has waived its opportunity for a hearing. The agency has also determined that Advicor and Simcor were withdrawn from sale for reasons of safety and effectiveness, and FDA will not accept or approve ANDAs that reference the two drugs.
