First Pharma Cited for GMPs on Form 483

FDA has posted a Form 483 after completing an inspection of First Pharma Associates in Spokane, WA last month. The inspection cited the firm for non-microbial contamination that was observed in the production area. FDA said its investigator observed personnel manually contacting the inner surface of containers and closures. Additionally, the form cited the firm for inadequate pressure differentials between higher quality air rooms and lower quality air rooms. First Pharma manufactures sterile and non-sterile drug products.
