Former CDER CV/Renal Deputy Joins NDA Partners

Former CDER Division of Cardiovascular and Renal Products deputy director Stephen Grant has joined NDA Partners as an expert consultant. During his more than 20-year career at the agency, Grant served on CDER Office of Compliance’s Medical and Scientific Affairs staff, Office of Therapeutics Research and Review as a clinical reviewer, and at CBER’s Office of Cellular, Tissue, and Gene Therapies as team leader.

Grant is a board-certified cardiologist with expertise in pre-market development for drugs, biologics, and combination products, according to NDA Partners. He also has experience in the design, analysis, and interpretation of clinical efficacy and safety studies involving investigational and marketed drugs and devices.

Grant received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and bachelor’s degree from Yale. In addition to serving at FDA, he previously served as chief medical officer at Celladon Corp.
