Former FDA Lawyer Joins Arnall Golden Gregory

Former FDA regulatory counsel Deborah Livornese has joined Arnall Golden Gregory as counsel in its food and drug practice, focusing on a broad range of FDA matters concerning prescription and OTC drugs, medical devices, biological products, and cosmetics. She intends to advise pharmaceutical drug and device companies on regulatory requirements and strategies related to obtaining FDA approvals and other paths to market, as well as on post-marketing regulatory requirements, according to the firm.

Livornese spent seven years in CDER’s Office of Regulatory Policy and provided guidance to the Office of New Drugs and Office of Generic Drugs on issues related to approvals and withdrawals, the regulation of unapproved drugs, and user fees, the law firm says.

Livornese has a law degree from University of California Hastings College of the Law, and an undergraduate degree from University of Pennsylvania.
