Former Insys Vice President Debarred

Federal Register notice: FDA is issuing an order to permanently debarring former Insys vice president Michael Gurry from providing services in any capacity to a person that has an approved or pending drug product application due to his related conviction of a felony. From early 2012 and continuing through 2015, Gurry was shown to have participated in a conspiracy whereby Insys employees bribed medical practitioners in various states to increase prescribing Subsys (fentanyl) to their patients.
