# Fresenius Recalls Ivenix Infusion Pumps

Fresenius Kabi has recalled (Class 1) its Ivenix Infusion System and Large Volume Pump due to potential pneumatic valve failures that may cause the pump to stop an active infusion or could prevent the pump from being used. FDA has determined that the cause of the failures is related to process controls, according to a [recall notice](https://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/cdrh/cfdocs/cfres/res.cfm?id=211456&ref=fdaweb.com). Fresenius says it is contacting customers to create a plan for repairing any affected products at their facilities.
