FTC Moves to eFiling for Brand/Generic Drug Settlements

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is implementing electronic filing to replace hard-copy submissions involving brand name and generic drug company agreements for antitrust reviews. Starting 6/17, such filings should be submitted to both the FTC at mma@ftc.gov and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice at mma@usdoj.gov. Companies will receive an emailed confirmation letter, along with a tracking number assigned by the agencies for use in any future correspondence about the filing, according to an FTC notice. The notice also covers filing procedures for biological/biosimilar settlements.
