# Fusion IV Recalls Sterile Drug Products

Fusion IV Pharmaceuticals (dba Axia Pharmaceutical) has voluntarily recalled all unused sterile drug products within expiry due to a lack of sterility assurance. Administering a drug product that is not sterile could result in serious infections which may be life-threatening, a [recall notice](https://www.fda.gov/safety/recalls-market-withdrawals-safety-alerts/fusion-iv-pharmaceuticals-inc-dba-axia-pharmaceutical-issues-voluntary-nationwide-recall-all-sterile?ref=fdaweb.com) says. To date, the company says it has not received any adverse event reports related to the recall.
