*Federal Register* notice: FDA is establishing the Genetic Metabolic Diseases Advisory Committee, and its duration is two years from the date the charter is filed. The committee can be renewed if the agency determines that it is in the public interest. The nine-voting-member panel is intended to review and evaluate data on the safety and effectiveness of marketed and investigational human drug and biologic products for use in treating genetic metabolic diseases.
