# Gilead Sciences Pauses Magrolimab Studies

Gilead Sciences says it has paused enrollment globally in its magrolimab solid tumor studies and FDA subsequently requested a partial clinical hold on these as well. The hold is in addition to the [previously announced](https://www.gilead.com/news-and-press/company-statements/gilead-statement-on-discontinuation-of-phase-3-enhance-3-study-in-aml?ref=fdaweb.com) full clinical hold on all magrolimab studies in acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes requested by the agency. “Gilead is reviewing the benefit-risk of magrolimab across all ongoing trials and will provide an update on this assessment as soon as possible,” a company release says.

Patients already enrolled in the ELEVATE solid tumor studies may continue to choose receiving magrolimab following reconsenting to the study, Gilead says. The ELEVATE solid tumor studies impacted by the partial clinical hold include:
