# Giron Debarred Over Investigator Misconduct

*Federal Register* notice: FDA is issuing an order permanently debarring **Angela Maria Giron** from providing services in any capacity to a person that has an approved or pending drug product application. FDA bases the debarment on a finding that Giron was convicted of a felony for conduct relating to the development or approval, including the process for development or approval, of a drug product. Giron had been a clinical investigator at AMB Research Center in Miami, FL, where she created false and fraudulent study records. For example, electronic case record files falsely represented that the subjects completed the informed consent form process.
